Brad Keselowski dominates, holds off Michael McDowell to earn NNS win at Iowa

BuFL1_fIYAAP0FABrad Keselowski successfully defended his 2013 NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) victory at Iowa Speedway Saturday night, as he kept Michael McDowell behind him (by 0.886 seconds) and wins in dominant fashion in the 2014 U.S. Cellular 250.

Keselowski, who led the most laps – 146 out of 250, received his third series win of the season, his thirtieth series career win and his third series win at Iowa Speedway.

Following Keselowski and McDowell to the drop of the checkered flag was pole-sitter – and the final $100,000 ‘Dash 4 Cash’ bonus receipient – Trevor Bayne finishing third, Sam Hornish, Jr. fourth and series Rookie of the Year (ROTY) candidate, Ty Dillon finished fifth.

Rounding out the top-ten finishing positions were Regan Smith taking home sixth, Brian Scott seventh, the current series points leader and ROTY candidate, Chase Ellott eighth, ROTY candidate Dylan Kwasniewski ninth and Elliott Sadler bringing home tenth.

With his eighth-place finish, Chase Elliott leaves Iowa with a 2-point lead over Regan Smith.
